Natal or Recife?: Hello!

    recife has a population of about 2.5 million while Natal has only about 300,000. recife has a reputation for a lot of crime. Both cities try to attract tourists which attracts people who want to rob the tourists, but with care and avoiding dark places at night, both should be interesting. Good beaches.
